Like with other genres, romance entered into the world of sci-fi writing and here we are. ![]() Invisibility, cybernetic enhancements, and technological developments are all viable themes in science fiction writing, but we just mentioned aliens as perhaps the most intriguing one. Of course, we cannot say that for a novel to be considered sci-fi it has to feature extraterrestrials. ![]() As time went on, the nature of science fiction writing changed accordingly and broad new vistas were journeyed towards as readers didn’t want to be stumped by the same manner of writing. Some of these novels were subversive, while others remained adherent to the paradigm which was set up for them. Shortly thereafter, he wrote his best-selling book, Tortured for Christ. Wurmbrand would somehow survive a total of 14 years in prison, before being ransomed out of Romania in December 1965. His crime? Pastor Wurmbrand had dared to defy the Soviet-backed communist government in Romania by preaching the gospel of Christ. That was the date Wurmbrand was blindfolded and spirited off a street in broad daylight, driven to a penal facility in another city, questioned for hours by the secret police without legal counsel present, and then finally thrown into a subterranean prison cell. ![]() For the late Richard Wurmbrand, February 29, 1948, was one such day. The magic to this story is the secret that is revealed as you read on. By the time they are at college together the gloves are off and what was once idle resentment towards each other explodes into something far more sinister. ![]() As children, Vaughn bullied Lenora, as adolescents, Lenora turned the table and started biting back. Despite growing up together and being jointly moulded towards their destinies, they are worlds apart when it comes towards relationships. Right from the outset, Vaughn is cold, calculating and downright malicious towards his nemesis, Lenora Astalis. It seems a while now since we endured the pleasures that Vicious bestowed upon us but he certainly created a new monster in his son, Vaughn. Nothing seems to phase her, be it a difficult or daunting storyline or just A-holes, as is the case with the Spencer men. ![]() Her stories are always entertaining but her words make her stories utterly breathtaking. in a dark, sadistic and utterly disturbing way!
